In August the College held a productive, online meeting with representatives of the National Co-operative Council (NCC) of Sri Lanka. College staff were joined by Dr Piyal Perera and Dr Eshani Diana, both new members of the NCC who were keen to learn about our educational resources, international study tour programmes and recent work with the University of Dundee on the co-operative masters programme.

The gathering came about thanks to previous meeting, earlier in the year, between our Head of International Partnerships, Dr Sarah Alldred, and Dr Chirantha Jeewan De Silva, a passionate co-operator and medic.

It is hoped that this initial discussion could help lead to the College and NCC of Sri Lanka developing an education collaboration that will benefit co-operators in both countries.
