Co-opted Trustee

(Bringing financial experience)

As we approach the end of our centenary year, we are launching a new five-year strategy, taking us from 2020-2025.

We're looking for a Trustee with finance skills & experience, to be co-opted to our Board.

Why is the role of Trustee so important?

Our Trustees provide us with vital skills, expertise, experience and guidance; essential to the effective leadership of a successful educational charity. They also help direct the strategy, oversee our finances, provide scrutiny balanced with support and ensure our charity operates legally, ethically and responsibly.

Following a board skills audit, it was identified that the current Board of Trustees would be strengthened with a co-optee who has a financial management background and focus. Could you bring these skills to the table?

Being a Trustee for the College is a voluntary role (travel expenses are covered) and a great way to expand your professional portfolio while ‘giving back’. If you have a passion for education, charitable work and experience in financial management, we want to hear from you!

More details about the role can also be found in the Trustee Information pack which is available to download before.

How to apply

If you wish to apply, please send a CV and covering letter setting out how your skills and experience relate to the needs of the College to [email protected] by 31 January 2020.

We would also like you to complete the skills matrix self-evaluation form that you will find in the Trustee Information Pack below.
