The Ecoope project aims to reduce youth unemployment across Europe, particularly focussing on areas with high unemployment such as Portugal and Spain where nearly 40% of young people are not in work or education. This project aims to identify and consolidate best practice across the EU in the field of co-operative entrepreneurial education methodologies and courses aimed at secondary school and university students.

Through knowledge-sharing and building upon existing expertise, the Ecoope project will give young people the necessary skills to make them more employable and ultimately leading to a reduction in youth unemployment. Working with partners from Spain, Portugal, Italy and Finland, the College will play an important role in researching existing activity and providing quality assurance for the highly innovative new materials that will be developed.

Take a look below at a video which showcases the project's closing event and the impact it will hopefully have in the future.
