The first CoopStarter project strengthened support mechanisms for co-operative entrepreneurs by establishing a European network of mentors through the use of a common and open-source training methodology (CoopMentor), together with an online platform providing practical resources to cooperative entrepreneurs (Ready, steady, coop!).

CoopStarter2 aims to build upon the success of the first project through developing both the co-operative entrepreneurial knowledge and co-op culture of younger generations. This will be achieved by sharing existing mentoring tools through European youth networks, creating innovative and interactive tools to target young people and training a team of young ambassadors to promote peer-to-peer exchanges. The College will be part of an EU-wide consortium of national co-operative associations and youth organisations, helping to develop training resources and tools to support this exciting activity.
