Described as a 'wake up call' to everyone involved in social care by Mevyn Eastman, Chair of the Co-operative Care Forum, this report breaks new ground in thinking about co-operative social care.

Our involvement

We, along with Change Agents, were commissioned by the Co-operative Care Forum, with support from East of England Co-operative Society, Wales Co-operative Centre and Co-operatives UK to conduct research with users and initations and a new form of social care.

The Report

Entitled Owning our care:Investigating the development of multi stakeholder co-operative social care in the UK it asks: What does co-operative social care look like? Can it address the imbalances of power between users, providers and commissioners? You can read the report here whilst it was also featured in this Independent article
